Heading out into the beautiful autumn air for a lifestyle session is something I’ll always look forward to!
I joined the Gigney family (including their dog, Shelby - as much a member of the family as anyone else) for a walk around some local woodland and we had SO MUCH FUN!
Having fun is my aim during a family shoot; it allows everyone to relax, let go and just enjoy each other’s company. It’s so rare these days that families have the opportunity to hang out together with nobody rushing to be somewhere else, or distracted by other thoughts. So a family shoot is about more than capturing gorgeous photos of you all together. It’s the chance to put down your phone and just, simply... be. And in a world that’s always spinning too fast, that’s something to treasure.
