Katie & Marc’s Wedding - The Plough At Leigh, Hildenborough
Well this is shaping up to be a very soggy summer of weddings indeed! But the weather didn’t dampen spirits one little bit and Katie and Marc had the best day at The Plough at Leigh!
The Plough is such a pretty venue, inside and out. The barn is heaped with character and the gardens are always full of flowers, so whether you choose to have your ceremony inside or out, you’re guaranteed a gorgeous backdrop. Katie & Marc had already decided to have their ceremony inside, which was gently lit with twinkling fairy lights. So romantic!
Amidst the rain showers we still managed to make good use of the pretty gardens, hiding beneath the lovely gazebo for some shelter. And while I was taking photos, Katie surprised Marc with a card gifting him a trip to Vegas! What a moment to capture - and what a gift! I can’t imagine that the rain bothered them in the least.
Come the evening, my lovely couple had booked an incredible band who really got the party going - the dance floor was packed and everyone was buzzing. I love to photograph a good party when everyone just lets loose! Katie & Marc’s day was gorgeous from start to finish. Everyone looked incredible, the soft, delicate flowers set the romantic mood perfectly, and most importantly, everyone had a brilliant day.
