Sidonie & James’s Wedding - Hever Castle, Hever, Edenbridge
What a fabulous start to my 2023 weddings! Sidonie & James were married at Hever Castle, and what a treat it was to kick off my working year with such a gorgeous, loved up couple at such a stunning venue! It was wonderful to be back with these two after their engagement shoot last year – joining their excitement on their big day was such an honour!
Winter weddings are often overlooked due to chilly and unpredictable weather, but Sidonie & James proved just how beautiful winter weddings can be. They completely embraced the season with their epic outfits, and Sidonie’s beautifully styled flowers matched their colour scheme perfectly. So elegant. So stylish!
An added bonus to weddings at this time of year is that venues such as Hever Castle tend to be quieter – and in fact, Hever was closed to the public on Saturday so we had the whole place to ourselves. It felt incredibly peaceful, calm and so special – walking the grounds with this gorgeous pair was an absolute joy and I could’ve stayed out there for hours!
Sidonie & James are so loved up and couldn’t take their eyes off each other all day. They’d put so much thought into the styling of their day, which was heaped with so many meaningful, personal details. I was so touched to see that they’d topped their wedding cake with a photo I’d taken on their engagement shoot – how special is that?!
