Katie & Martyn’s Wedding - Cooling Castle, Rochester
The lovely Katie and Martyn were married at Cooling Castle, and despite the exceptional heat the gardens at Cooling Castle were as gorgeous as ever - bursting with colour and heaps of dreamy flowers.
Fortunately the temperature had dropped a little from the searing heat at the very start of the week, but it was still a pretty sticky day! So I really couldn’t have blamed Katie and Martyn if all they wanted to do was dash towards the shade with a cool glass of bubbly in their hand. But no, my intrepid couple happily trekked across a field for some gorgeous golden hour photos - and I’m so pleased! We were all slightly ‘glowing’ when we returned from our golden hour adventure, but it was so worth it. It’s a brave pair who trust a photographer who wants to drag them out into a wheat field on a baking hot day! But you only get one shot at creating those blissfully romantic photos, and I’m so glad that Katie and Martyn made the most of their moment.
