2021 Favourite Wedding Moments - Fun, Romance & Love
YESSSSSSSS!!! I’ve finally done it! I’ve finally compiled my favourite wedding moments of 2021 (yes it might be a bit late but I had a heck of an editing queue to slay first!)
Creating this highlights collection is such a joy to do - an amazing opportunity to revisit all of the incredible weddings I’ve captured over the year. And what a year it’s been!
For me, 2021 was a year of much longed-for returns. A return to weddings. A return to hugging, to dancing, to being able to invite ALL of our friends and family to celebrate with us. And it’s not just me who has been delighted to see people reunited. The energy at this years weddings has been insane! I’ve never seen such huge hugs, such lively dance floors or such a visible appreciation for how lucky we all are to be in each others company once more.
All those things we used to take for granted were back, and the emotions at every single one of my 2021 weddings were off the chart in the best possible way. What a privilege it was to capture.
2021 wasn’t without its challenges; as an industry we were all thrilled to be back but exhausted from the pace. It was relentless! That said, the highlights were pretty phenomenal and for me, winning Photographer of the Year at the Kent Wedding Awards was an enormous achievement!
So, that was 2021. I’m already so excited for the season ahead and cannot wait for all those incredible weddings! For now, I’d like to raise a glass to all of my 2021 hero’s who feature in this slideshow. Here’s to every smile, every kiss, every tear and every single moment of love, joy and happiness.
